INGREDIENTS
2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 lbs hot ground sausage
1 Lrg onion, chopped
2 (28 oz) cans Tuttorosso Crushed Tomatoes with basil
¼ cup chopped fresh basil
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
1 cup red wine
1 (8 oz) Pkg grated Romano cheese, or Parmesan cheese
2 cup half & half
3 Tbsp vodka
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat. Saute garlic, sausage and onion in the oil for 10 minutes. Add crushed tomatoes, fresh basil, salt, black pepper, wine and 1 cup grated cheese. Cook on medium heat for 30 minutes.
