INGREDIENTS
  • 2 eggs, beaten until light
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 3 cup flour
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/3 tsp baking soda
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 orange rind, grated

    • INSTRUCTIONS
  • 1. Add sugar, sour cream, and milk to eggs and beat thoroughly.
  • 2. Sift dry ingredients together several times. Add orange rind.
  • 3. Stir into egg mixture to make donut batter.
  • 4. Drop batter into hot oil. Flip over when bottom side is brown. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
  • 5. Makes 2 dozen donuts.
