INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a small saucepan, combine the water and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the sugar is completely dissolved.
2. Remove the sugar water from heat and let it cool to room temperature.
3. Stir in the lemon juice and lemon zest.
4. Pour the mixture into the shaved ice cups and place lids on cups.
5. Put filled shaved ice cups in the freezer for about 12 hours.
6. When syrup pucks are fully frozen, remove from cups and place in KitchenAide shaved ice attachment.
7. Run KitchenAide shaved ice attachment per directions.
