Hey. We get the canned sardines from Costco. Drain and reserve liquid. Flour, egg, breadcrumbs, fry in olive oil. I reserve the liquid for when I’m making a sauce with them. I start the sauce in the sardine crumbles/oil by frying onions and garlic then add the liquid and healthy dose or red wine, simmer, then add purée.
