INSTRUCTIONS
1. In a medium bowl combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder, and baking soda.
2. Stir in buttermilk, egg yolk, vegetable oil, chilies, and cheese.
3. In a small bowl, using an electric mixer, beat egg white until stiff.
4. Fold egg white into batter, leaving a few fluffs of white.
5. Preheat waffle bowl maker.
6. Pour batter into the bottom grid to the fill lines (approximately 1/2 cup).
