INSTRUCTIONS
[For Crust]
1. Crush one package of crackers between wax paper.
2. Melt margarine and add to crumbs and mix with fork.
3. Press into pie plate to form crust.
[For Filling]
4. Beat softened cream cheese until fluffy.
5. Add condensed milk and stir till clear and smooth.
6. Add lemon juice and vanilla and blend until smooth.
7. Pour into crust and refrigerate for 3 hours.
8. Mix sugar and cornstarch in small dish.
[For Topping]
9. Drain cherries.
10. Blend cherry juice and sugar mixture in saucepan and cook over medium heat until clear and thickened.
11. Remove from heat.
12. Add cherries and stir well to coat cherries with glaze.
13. Cover and set aside to cool. After pie has been refrigerated for 3 hours, cover pie with cherries.
14. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
