INSTRUCTIONS
1. Measure flour; add shortening, sugar, salt and cinnamon.
2. Cut in with pastry blender until pea-Iike size.
3. Add well beaten eggs and 3 tablespoons of vinegar and water mixture.
4. Knead until dough is smooth (about 10 minutes).
5. Cut only enough dough for what you will roll. Wrap remaining dough in plastic wrap.
6. Roll on floured board quite thin with rolling pin (it will retract, so keep rolling until it stays in desired thinness -about 1/8 inch).
7. Cut into oval shapes and wrap around aluminum tube and fry in deep oil (Crisco) until golden brown.
8. Leftover dough can be re-used; it will be a little dry -it can be moistened with your hands, re-kneaded and re-used.
