INGREDIENTS
  • 1 1/8 cup water
  • 1 Tbsp molasses
  • 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 cup dark rye flour
  • 2 cup bread flour
  • 1 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 ½ Tbsp caraway seeds (see note *)
  • 1 Tbsp baker's active dry yeast

    • INSTRUCTIONS
  • 1. Measure and add liquid ingredients to bread pan.
  • 2. Measure and add dry ingredients (except yeast) to bread pan.
  • 3. Use finger to form well in flour where you will pour yeast. Yeast must NEVER come in contact with a liquid when adding ingredients. Measure the yeast and carefully pour into well.
  • 4. Snap baking pan into bread maker and close the lid.
  • 5. Press SELECT button to choose the BASIC setting.
  • 6. Press the CRUST COLOR button to choose light, medium, or dark crust.
  • 7. Press the START/STOP button.

    • NOTES
    *You may substitute fennel seeds for the caraway seeds
