INSTRUCTIONS
1. In one and a half quarts of hot water, simmer meat chunks for two hours or until tender. In the meantime, cook all the vegetables in microwave oven. Strain the meat and save the juice.
2. Clean the pot and return the juice to it.
3. Cut the meat into smaller pieces and return to pot. Let cool a few minutes.
4. Combine the flour with a half cup or so of cool water. Stir until it's dissolved and add to the juice.
5. Bring to a boil and add the vegetables. It should be as thick as you like it. You may have to add some water if it has boiled away.
6. Add a small amount of gravy master to darken the stew to a light brown color.
7. Boil the gnocchi for a couple of minutes per package directions.
8. Remove with a slotted spoon and line the bottom of the individual bowls with them.
9. Spoon the stew over the dumplings.
10. Add salt & pepper to taste
